MARU Monument Dining Chair

Introduce sleek form and sophisticated darker tones to your dining space with the MARU Monument Dining Chair. Combining Monument upholstery with a slim black frame, this contemporary dining chair creates a clean monochromatic look with a distinctive circular backrest. Furthermore, its compact proportions make it an elegant choice for modern dining arrangements where strong design does not need to feel visually heavy.

The rounded upholstered backrest gives the MARU its defining character, while the padded circular seat softens the precise lines of the slender frame. Meanwhile, the dark upholstery and black structure create a cohesive tonal finish. As a result, the MARU feels sophisticated and architectural while retaining the comfort required around a dining table.

Measuring 83.5 cm high and 41.5 cm wide, the chair maintains a relatively streamlined footprint. In addition, its 55.5 cm depth provides balanced proportions for everyday dining.

Monument Upholstered Black Dining Chair

The MARU Monument Dining Chair uses simple geometry to create a distinctive contemporary silhouette. The circular backrest provides a softer counterpoint to the slim linear frame, while the coordinating round seat reinforces the balanced design. Consequently, the chair creates visual interest without relying on excessive detailing.

Furthermore, its dark palette works particularly well with natural and stained timber dining tables. For example, pair the MARU with dark oak or walnut for a rich tonal scheme. Alternatively, position it around marble or glass to introduce contrasting materials while maintaining a refined contemporary aesthetic.

The padded seat and upholstered backrest bring softness to the slender frame. Meanwhile, the all-black appearance gives the chair enough definition to stand out against lighter walls and flooring. Therefore, it can work equally well within dramatic darker interiors or as a contrasting feature in a neutral dining room.

At 83.5 cm high, the MARU has a neatly proportioned profile that avoids overwhelming the dining table. Overall, its combination of Monument upholstery, circular detailing and a slim black frame makes it a versatile choice for sophisticated contemporary dining spaces.
